Next Master of Timothy Dwight College Announced by President Richard C. Levin
New Haven, Conn -- It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Brenzel TD '75, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, Lecturer in Philosophy, and current Timothy Dwight resident fellow, as the next Master of Timothy Dwight College for a period of five years, beginning July 1, 2010. Dean Brenzel will retain his role in undergraduate admissions as he becomes the new master of TD.
Dean Brenzel has had an extraordinary career, which has spanned the non-profit world, entrepreneurial business, the Academy, and university administration. After receiving his B.A. in philosophy from Yale College in 1975, he spent two years as a Jesuit novice, and began a career in association management that included senior positions at the National Association of Securities Dealers, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
