CADDO GAP, Ark. (AP) — The governor of Arkansas says the death toll from flash flooding along a pair of rivers has risen to 20. Rescue teams also are searching for more than 40 people reported missing. Heavy rains triggered flooding early today along the Caddo (KAD'-oh) and Little Missouri rivers in the southwest portion of the state. The worst damage was in a recreation area where hundreds of people were camping.GRAND ISLE, La. (AP) — Scientists are now estimating that twice as much oil is flowing into the Gulf of Mexico than had earlier been reported -- and some are saying it's even more than that. But the owner of a motel in Grand Isle, La., says the numbers are meaningless. Wanda Kirby says, "Whether it's five gallons or 5 million, I don't care." She says instead of wasting time measuring it, "we just need to stop it."
