“Georgia is our second home. We made the decision and commitment to help needy people in the country before the time came for us to leave. The local people are very hospitable and friendly. That’s why we decided do something good for them in return,” said Aileen Platz, from The Philippines.
“Actually the theme of our event was food; all Asian food, ranging from Sushi to Curry. There were many different kinds of food, from Vietnam, China, Thailand, India and Japan, all cooked by Asians,” said Aileen.
The evening included Chinese and Pakistan dances in traditional Asian costumes courtesy of Maia Bakradze’s FineArt Studio.
“Bebee first approached me about founding the charity,” said Aileen.
Limkasul’s nationality is Thai. She arrived here 2 years ago with her British husband, who was working in Azerbaijan and is now employed at British Petroleum in Tbilisi .
Limkasul owns the Ban Thai Restaurant which is located at 35 Tabukashvili Street.
