While 2009 broke all records for low cruise prices, today you can still catch a whale of a bargain. Like the rest of our economy, cruise pricing has only partially recovered. Here are some hot bargains right now available from the most popular cruise lines, plus one special sneak preview.

In this column you’ll find links directly to the cruise-line web sites since they provide the most comprehensive information, but keep in mind 90% of cruises are sold by travel agents -- and I recommend the same for you. Each cruise line sets its own cruise fares and enforces a flat pricing policy for direct and travel agent bookings – so the price will be the same regardless of whether you book off the cruise Web site or an agent. And while travel agents can offer you an extra level of service and convenience, the cruise lines pay their commissions.
